VISIT AT THE DIOCESANO MUSEUM
ADORATION OF THE MAGI BY SANDRO BOTTICELLI
The "Adoration of the Magi," one of the most fascinating and famous works by Sandro Botticelli (Florence, 1445 – 1510), a symbol of Italian Renaissance painting, is the protagonist of the 16th edition of Masterpiece for Milan. The work, coming from the Gallerie degli Uffici Museum in Florence, is displayed at the Carlo Maria Martini Diocesan Museum. Its exhibition will be an opportunity to appreciate the mastery of the Florentine artist, capable of combining the intimate event of Christ's birth with the vibrant present of Medici-era Florence.
